Exhibit description

This gas burner, known as a gas cooker stool because of its shape, had the heating power of four standard cooking burners.

Such heat was needed only in certain places, and this device was used exactly in such a location. During its lifespan, this gas cooker stool boiled countless litres of water needed in the laundry and kitchen of the preventorium in Paczków – an institution for children infected with tuberculosis.
