The Virtual Gas Museum is a source of knowledge about the past, the present and the future of the gas industry and natural gas. The project aims to disseminate knowledge about the gas industry and to digitise resources linked to its history. The website is addressed at engineering and technology enthusiasts, pupils and teachers as well as anyone who wants to know more about the gas sector. The project was created in cooperation with the Gasworks Museum in Paczków, under the auspices of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa – the national operator of the gas distribution system in Poland.
Our focus is to cultivate Poland’s gas industry traditions which go back almost two centuries. We endeavour to preserve the cultural heritage associated with the production of gas. We provide access to knowledge about the gas industry to everyone, without any restrictions.
