Exhibit description

A gate valve is an inconspicuous, yet very crucial part of a gas holder. It adjusts the entry and exit of the gas from the gas storage tanks, so it has to ensure a leak-tight and precise seal. Its size and design were always adjusted to the volume of the gas holder. This particular exhibit is a circular, flange, wedge-shaped gate valve.
