Exhibit description

As it is possible to adjust the size of a gas flame, gas burners have a wide range of applications in laboratories.

Different designs are used to obtain the necessary parameters. The top of the wide tube of this Meker burner is covered with a mesh which additionally separates the flame into an array of smaller, evenly distributed flames. This allows, with the same consumption of gas, to achieve a higher temperature and a larger heating area.
