Although this building was not used to produce gas, it still had to meet the highest safety standards.
This drawing shows the workshop and the storage facility of the gasworks in Tarnogaj, a district of Wrocław. The plan of the facility assumed that a wooden floor would be laid inside. This solution protected against the creation of accidental sparks by dropped metal parts and tools, for example. In the event of a leak in the gas network, such small errors could result in a dangerous explosion.
