Exhibit description

This drawing allows us to peek inside this enormous gas producing oven.

The visible oval apertures are retorts. This is where coal was loaded, which was then transformed into gas. The gas generator provided the high temperature required for this process. The generator can be seen in the lower part of the furnace. This furnace design uses the Didier system, in which the generator is placed inside the furnace.
