Exhibit description

Gaslight not only played a role in everyday life, but it also had a great impact on the matters of faith.

This layout drawing illustrates a gas installation designed in 1881 in today’s St. Elisabeth in Wrocław. The use of gas for heating and lighting purposes was customary in former evangelical churches.
