Knowledge is key! In order to identify the facilities and production equipment of the municipal gasworks in Paczków, the municipal company managing the facility conducted a thorough inventory of its assets.
The purpose of the inventory was to assess the condition of all devices that might require replacement of upgrade. Based on that report, changes were made mainly in the machinery room. Much of its machinery was replaced in subsequent years. The equipment that was installed in the machinery room in the late 1950s and early 1960s remained in the gasworks until the end of its days. At present, it can be viewed in the Gas Industry Museum in Paczków, which is located in the former municipal gasworks.
