The gasworks in Paczków is so-well preserved that its one-hundred-year-old plans are still accurate.
In 1902, specialists from Berlin conducted a detailed survey of the gasworks. The resulting plans, illustrating the detailed layout of the rooms, include a furnace hall, a machinery room, a coal storage area and warehouses. Although these rooms are no longer used for their original functions, their layout has not changed. In consequence, these drawings made over one hundred years ago can be still used today to carry out a sightseeing tour around the gasworks in Paczków.
